Thank you to everyone who made Chimps Kitchen a success!
Our 8th annual Chimps Kitchen was an evening to remember. We raised nearly $45,000 in net proceeds which will directly benefit our beloved chimpanzee residents!
We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support from all who made this possible- our local celebrity chefs, sponsors, auction & raffle donors, attendees, and volunteers. Because of YOU, the more than 250 chimps in our care are living the peaceful and dignified retirement they deserve.
Our loyal event co-chairs Laura Guttridge and Judy Van Saun work tirelessly each year to promote this local signature event – we couldn’t do it without them! We are so grateful for their commitment and compassion for Save the Chimps. Thank you Laura & Judy!
Thank you to our local celebrity chefs for preparing, donating, and serving such delectable hors’ de’ oeuvres. It’s unanimous, the food was phenomenal!
Executive Chef Sarah Wills & Chef Rachel Bourdon of Bent Pine Golf Club, Executive Chef Daniel Traimas of Cobalt, Pastry Chef Ashlee Wykoff of Frosting, Ryan Wykoff of Grind + Grape, Executive Chef Ben Tench of The Moorings Yacht and Country Club, and Executive Chef Vincent Cachot of Windsor.
Thank you to all of our sponsors who helped support this event and made it a great success. TC Palm, Southwest Staffing, Valentine Designs, Sarah Haney, Lucien Meyer, CenterState Bank, Anonymous, Tim & Molly Polidoroff, Law Office of Bobby D. Guttridge, Malibu Rum, Bob & Judy Van Saun, Dick & Felicia Patton, Robin Atwell M.D., Treasure Coast Lexus, Nozzle Nolen, and Southern Eagle Distributing.
Thank you to our raffle and auction donors. We had as much fun putting together the packages as our guests had bidding on them. We had an amazing collection of items thanks to all of you. They were too enticing for our guests to resist.
Thank you to our volunteers for all your hard work, professionalism, dedication, and smiles.
Thank you to Dorothy Napp Schindel, Steve Schindel, and Lila Blakeslee. We met this amazing team years ago at Gallery 14 when they host Save the Chimps’ first chimp art show. This is the 8th year that they have handled the raffle, and it gets more exciting each year… nearly $3,000 in raffle tickets were sold on Thursday night! Thank you Dorothy, Steve, and Lila for being such loyal ambassadors for the chimps.
Thank you to Duo Vida. Their beautiful sounds inspired by the natural environment create a relaxed and inviting ambiance.
Thank you to all of our guests for attending, bidding, and supporting our beloved chimpanzee residents. Your generosity helps make our work possible. On behalf of our Board of Directors, Advisory Council Members, and staff thank you for celebrating our 8th annual Chimps Kitchen with us.
Thank you all. We are so incredibly fortunate for the generosity, compassion, and dedication from our community and supporters. The chimps are amazing people and so are you!
See you in 2017…. Save the Date…. November 2, 2017
