Stephen Bennett is a founder and Principle with the Caravanserai Project which supports entrepreneurships which have social impact. He started his career as a Peace Corps/VISTA volunteer in South Central Los Angeles in the aftermath of the Watts riots. He currently is on the Board of the Arcus Foundation where he serves as Treasurer and on the Board of The California Endowment. He has served on various boards, including ANGLE, Leadership 18, and the National Institute for the Severely Handicapped. He is a founding board member of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation.
