It’s been nearly 9 months since this sweet, petite, young chimpanzee made Save the Chimps her new home. You may remember her from the photos we shared soon after her arrival, hugging a plush toy, snuggled in blankets. She still loves her blankets but now she also enjoys snuggling members ofKiley’s family including Jaybee, Kiley, and Ariel. The photo above, taken in June, now shows just how confident and adventurous she has become, turning to encourage her family
members to come outside with her.
It’s truly a beautiful site for all of us at the Sanctuary. We invite you to adopt Lisa Marie
as a way to get to know her better and to follow along with her as she grows up here at Save the Chimps.Your adoption donation of $300 or $25/month will fund a full week’s worth of nutritious daily meals of fruits and vegetables, loving staff and veterinary care, maintenance of a beautiful island home, and enrichment activities.Lisa Marie’s adoption packet includes a certificate, biography, update, and a beautiful portrait suitable for framing. Gift adoptions
are also available.
Your compassion and commitment to Save the Chimps has transformed the lives of hundreds of chimpanzees. On behalf of Lisa Marie, volunteers, staff, our Board of Directors, and of course, the more than 250 residents residing at our sanctuary,
