Who doesn’t love a hammock?? The chimps are no different. Whether its lounging in one in the shade on their island or in the comfort of one of the rooms in their buildings, the chimps love their hammocks.
Considering all the wear and tear, the hammocks are weaved with firehose and its takes quite a bit of time and muscle to make them. Thanks to our corporate partners and friends at Ft. Pierce and Brevard County Coca-Cola distribution centers, nearly a dozen employees volunteered and spent their Saturday cutting and drilling and making hammocks for the chimps.
