About Me
I was born to parents Stella and Cliff on February 23, 1995, at the Coulston Foundation, a biomedical laboratory in Alamogordo, NM. I was taken from my mother the day I was born and sent to the nursery to be raised by humans. At one week I was introduced to my peers for the first time. I shared a crib with two other infants, Sakari and Fergus. A few weeks later we moved together out of the nursery and into a room.
At nine months I was placed on my first study. My abdomen was injected with four different T.B. tests to determine the reaction. I was anesthetized multiple times to take pictures and measure the sites. At two and a half years I was sent to Bioqual, a lab in Rockville, MD. There are no records of my time there.
Today I am a member of Seve’s family. I spend my days running around the island with my best friend Kioki in the Florida sun. My great sense of humor is a joy to my caregivers. I often greet people by smacking the cage with a silly play face to initiate a game of chase. With my days of being a test subject behind me, I can rest and enjoy a peaceful retirement surrounded by joy and love
