About Me

I was born on June 4th, 1997 at a lab in San Antonio, Texas. I don’t know who my father is but my mother is a beautiful chimp named Olivia, from whom I inherited my beauty. I remained with my mother for one year and according to my records, I don’t appear to have been used in any research studies.

I was rescued by Save the Chimps at five years old and endearingly earned the nickname “Baby Kay”. Although I am full-grown and quite large for a female, many still refer to me as “Baby Kay”. I am a member of Kiley’s family and love spending time on the island. I am usually the last one to come inside when it’s time to eat and the first one out the door after mealtime. I have a very assertive and unique personality. When it rains, I love initiating games of “slip and slide” on the outdoor patio. I also enjoy being misted with the hose when it’s hot, often doing somersaults in the mist. I love unbreakable mirrors and stuffed animals, and I have also grown an interest in painting.
