About Me
I was born at The Coulston Foundation, a biomedical research lab in Alamogordo, NM. My parents were Corina and Tarzan. I spent just six days with my mother before being taken from her and sent to the laboratory nursery. I was never assigned to a biomedical research study, probably because I had a history of seizures and multiple near-death experiences.
In 2002, Save the Chimps took over The Coulston Foundation and rescued me and the other 265 chimpanzees there. I moved to a large island at Save the Chimps’ sanctuary in Fort Pierce, FL where I get to spend my days lounging in the sun, climbing hills and jungle gyms, along with my family, Alice’s family. I have a lot of energy and am known for stirring up trouble on occasion! I receive daily medications to control my seizures and have not had any known episodes in nearly a decade. I love having the freedom to choose how I spend my days.
