About Me
I was born on September 28, 1992, to Tami and Rufus. The Coulston Foundation lab took me away from my mom at birth to be raised by humans. This practice was more profitable to the lab and allowed them to breed the mothers more often. I had quarterly exams in preparation for being used in research.
I was rescued in 2002 when Save the Chimps stepped in to rescue the 266 chimpanzees at the Coulston Foundation. I am a member of Kiley’s family which also includes my brother, Christopher. The first thing you notice about me is my beautiful eyes. My eyes are a lighter brown than other chimps and they exude expression. When I look at you I am evaluating whether to trust you or not. Once I decide you are trustworthy, I love to play and will do wonderful ballerina spins. I am sassy, fun, and I love romping around the island with my friends.
