About Me
I was born on January 14, 1992, at the Coulston Foundation (TCF), a biomedical research lab in Alamogordo, NM. My mother, Jody, is now a resident of Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest; my father, Spock, was a resident of Save the Chimps but has sadly passed away. I spent just one hour with my mother before being taken from her and sent to the laboratory nursery. I was used in at least two biomedical research studies before the age of four, involving “knock-downs” with ketamine, blood draws, and liver biopsies.
When I was ten years old, TCF was on the verge of bankruptcy and I was rescued by Save the Chimps. Today, I am a member of Tapioca’s Group, and I enjoy roaming my spacious island home. I am an energetic and powerful chimp who loves to make some noise! One look into my piercing golden eyes, and I’ll capture your heart.
