Save the Chimps hosted its sixth annual Caregiver Society Day on Sunday, April 30. This was an opportunity to invite special friends and supporters to the Sanctuary for a behind-the-scenes tour and to say “thank you” to those who have shown extraordinary support of our mission. The day also provided an opportunity to celebrate the lives of the 250 chimpanzee residents of Save the Chimps.
Guests enjoyed a VIP tour of the Sanctuary, an elegant luncheon overlooking Air Force Island, and a special presentation “Remembering Their Past, Celebrating Their Future” featuring special guest, Allison Argo, an internationally renowned wildlife filmmaker. Allison produced and showed clips from the Emmy award-winning documentary, “Chimpanzees: An Unnatural History”.
To ALL of our supporters we say “thank you” every day. The lives of these wonderful chimpanzees who can now call the Sanctuary home, have been transformed because of your generous support.
