Our August Wishlist Challenge is to collect a 6-month supply of jelly. Jelly is used on “foraging board” enrichment items for the chimps as well as on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. They love ANY and ALL flavors. Most of the chimps’ diets consist of fresh fruit and vegetable, but peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are served once a week and the chimps rejoice in food grunts when they see this meal item roll in on the food cart.
