Great big pant-hoot to volunteer REBECCA ALEXANDER for helping Save the Chimps
win the the “100 Women, 100 Shoes” challenge sponsored by Crocs, Inc.

Rebecca, better known as “Becca”, has been a loyal volunteer and supporter of Save the Chimps for two years. She divides her time living on the Treasure Coast and “across the pond” in Scotland.  In addition to helping chimps, Becca also generously donates her time helping service dogs in Scotland.  Every time she returns to the Treasure Coast, one of her priorities is to help our beloved chimpanzees.  Becca is always full of enthusiasm , creative ideas, and energy. She is an inspiration to us and we are so lucky to have her be part of our chimp family.

During her last visit, she offered to assist STC enter a contest being offered by Crocs, Inc.  that would donate 100 pairs of Crocs to the winner.  StC’s  staff may spend a good 30% of their day working in  watery conditions and a donation would be of great benefit because as they provide good support,  can get wet, and dry relatively quickly.

The “100 Women, 100 Shoes Challenge” is part of Crocs’ corporate social responsibility platform – Crocs Caressm. Launched in 2007, Crocs Caressm aims to make a difference providing shoes to children and families in need for happy and healthy feet around the world. Crocs Cares also focuses on supporting events and volunteer initiatives in communities in which Crocs does business. More than 3 million pairs of shoes have been donated since the program’s inception.”
